Oraimo FreePods 2 vs Oraimo FreePods 2 Pro: Key Specs
Complete Design Turnaround
Let’s kick off with the design of the new FreePod. The most visible update is in the design of the earbud itself. Oraimo completely redesigned it – It looks a lot like the Apple Airpods Pro. Unlike the FreePods 2, the new earbud features silicone ear tips. Personally, I think this is an important update from Oraimo: Silicone ear tips help reduce ambient noise tremendously – especially for earbuds without the active noise cancellation feature. The new FreePods 2 Pro also features shorter stems when compared to its predecessor.
Automatic Ear Detection
Just as on the Apple AirPods Pro, the FreePods 2 Pro features the automatic ear detection feature. On the FreePods 2 Pro, the tap controls sensors intelligently monitor the wearing status of the earbuds, and music can be automatically paused or played based on that. This feature update is important because it helps save more power and ensures you don’t miss anything while watching/listening on your device.
Price
Since it was released, the Freepods 2 has maintained the same price to date. The earbud still sells for a discounted price of N9,900 on the Oraimo Nigeria website, while the new Oraimo FreePods 2 Pro currently sells for N11,500 on the same website.
